Running in sync with your cycle

The right training for the right day of your cycle

How it works

  • Log your cycle
  • Get the workout of the day
  • Run at your own pace

How it works

Lura connects your cycle to your training and learns from every run.

A loop that keeps getting better

Connect your cycle

You tell Lura where you are in your cycle. It identifies the phase: menstrual, follicular, ovulatory or luteal.

Adapt the workout

Today's session is tuned to your phase and your level: volume, intensity and type of stimulus.

Give your feedback

After your run, you log effort, pain and how you felt. It takes seconds.

The plan evolves

With your feedback, the progression engine adjusts the coming weeks, just for you.

The 4 cycle phases

Your body isn't the same every day. Your training shouldn't be either.

Lura reads your cycle phase and tunes the stimulus, from easing off during your period to the follicular peak.

Your cycle affects your experience (energy, perceived effort, symptoms) more than your raw performance. Lura uses that to your advantage, honestly.

Menstrual

Days 1-5

Energy may dip. Lura favors lighter sessions and respects the days your body asks you to ease off.

Follicular

Days 6-13

Usually the most energized phase. A good time for stronger stimuli and progression.

Ovulatory

Days 14-16

An energy peak for many. Lura uses the window for quality sessions, while keeping an eye on the joints.

Luteal

Days 17-28

PMS symptoms may show up. The focus shifts to consistency and well-being, with no pressure for records.

Every body is unique. Lura uses your phase as a starting point, but how you feel that day is what sets the tone of the workout.

Everything running needs, in tune with your body

Cycle periodization

Workouts designed for each phase, not one spreadsheet for the whole month.

Self-regulation

Felt pain or high effort? Lura recalibrates your next workout from your feedback.

Progression that evolves

The plan grows with you, week by week, within what's safe for your level.

HR zones + Apple Watch

Live heart rate and Z1-Z5 zones with Apple Watch. Optional: GPS handles it on its own.

Just your phone is enough

Distance, pace, elevation and route from GPS. No wearable required.

Privacy at the core

Cycle and training data handled with care, with you in control.

Running apps ignore your cycle. Cycle apps ignore your training.

Lura brings both worlds into one.

Generic running apps

The same plan all month, as if your body were a 70 kg man's.

Typical cycle apps

They track your period, but do nothing with it for your training.

Lura

Connects your cycle, your training and how you feel, and turns it into a plan that evolves with you.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a watch or wearable?

No. Lura works with just your phone: distance, pace and route come from GPS. If you have an Apple Watch, you also get live heart rate and zones, but it's optional.

Does it work if my cycle is irregular or I'm on birth control?

Yes. Lura doesn't assume a textbook cycle. It adapts to irregular cycles and, more importantly, to how YOU feel, so it works even when your hormones don't follow the classic pattern.

Is there an Android version?

Lura is available for iPhone on the App Store. Android is on our radar for the future.

Does Lura use Apple Health?

Yes. Lura integrates with Apple Health to read and write your workouts, always with your permission. You decide what to share.

Does Lura promise to improve my times?

No miracles here. The evidence shows your cycle affects your experience (effort, symptoms, injury risk) more than your raw performance. Lura uses that for smarter, more sustainable training, not to sell a promise.
